Hi, I'm Kate
I’m an acrylic artist living in the tiny coastal town of Morehead City, North Carolina. When I’m not in my studio, I’m chasing after my two wild toddlers—professional crab hunters and ocean splash experts—usually alongside my husband, who keeps us all laughing.
My art leans toward calm, peaceful scenes (probably because the rest of my life is delightfully chaotic). Painting is my way of slowing things down, soaking in the beauty around me, and sharing a little pocket of peace with anyone who needs it. I’m just happy to put my work into the world and hope it lands with people who love it as much as I love making it.
